Climate Action Policy<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

The Climate Action Policy<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>of Azerbaijan Technical University\u00a0 \u00a0is prepared based on the decisions of the United Nations\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Framework Convention on\u00a0Climate Change (UNFCCC) adopted at COP 28 conference in 2023, the Basic Regulations of the\u00a0<\/span>Forest Development Service\u00a0\u00a0under the Ministry of\u00a0Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Baku, 2020),\u00a0<\/span>and the Decree of the President\u00a0of the Republic of\u00a0\u00a0Azerbaijan\u00a0Ilham Aliyev dated February 2, 2021, on the “National Priorities\u00a0<\/span>for Socio-Economic\u00a0Development of Azerbaijan 2030″ to\u00a0combat climate change.<\/span><\/p>

This Document serves to eliminate all activities at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) that may negatively impact climate\u00a0<\/span>change resulting from\u00a0environmental pollution and atmospheric contamination by harmful gases.<\/span><\/p>

AzTU prioritizes the preservation of a teaching and working environment that does not allow activities contributing to climate change\u00a0<\/span>caused by environmental\u00a0pollution and atmospheric contamination. It commits to undertaking appropriate measures to combat climate\u00a0<\/span>change in accordance with international\u00a0agreements, conventions, conferences, anddecisions accepted by international legal acts and\u00a0national legislation.<\/span><\/p>

AzTU developed Sustainability<\/a><\/span><\/span> and climate action<\/a><\/span><\/span> plans to move ambitiously toward carbon neyturality by 2030.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
