A delegation from Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), led by the Rector Vilayat Valiyev, has undertaken a business visit to some of Uzbekistan\u2019s leading universities. The delegation included Vice-Rector for Science and Innovations Subhan Namazov, Vice-Rector for International Relations Fariz Mammadov, and Head of the Research and Development Department Bakhtiyar Badalov.<\/span><\/p>\n

The primary aim of the visit was to strengthen AzTU\u2019s collaboration with high-ranking Uzbek universities, particularly those recognized in international rankings, such as the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) ranking, as well as other global and regional university rankings. The visit also sought to establish joint platforms for research and educational projects.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the visit, Rector Vilayat Valiyev met with the leadership of Tashkent State Technical University, Tashkent National University, Tashkent Turin Polytechnic University, the National Research Institute, Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers, Tashkent State Transport University, Tashkent Inha University, the Institute of Chemical Technology, and New Era University.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the meetings, Rector Valiyev presented a comprehensive overview of AzTU and expressed the university\u2019s keen interest in collaborating on bilateral research projects, mutual faculty and student exchanges, the implementation of international and regional projects, joint scientific publications, dual diplomas, and shared academic supervision.<\/span><\/p>\n

The parties agreed to draft a roadmap for future initiatives tailored to each university’s unique strengths and characteristics. The Uzbek university representatives also expressed their interest in collaboration with AzTU.<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of the visit, Memoranda of Understanding were signed between AzTU and Tashkent State Technical University, Tashkent National University, and Tashkent Turin Polytechnic University. Both sides underscored their commitment to establishing and fostering bilateral and multilateral partnerships.<\/span><\/p>\n
