{"id":5974,"date":"2024-10-29T15:26:20","date_gmt":"2024-10-29T11:26:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aztu.edu.az\/sdg\/?p=5974"},"modified":"2025-01-16T12:32:09","modified_gmt":"2025-01-16T08:32:09","slug":"aztu-students-with-eco-sensitive-co2tod-project-which-converts-carbon-dioxide-gas-into-dry-ice-awarded-first-place-at-the-international-green-steam-azerbaijan-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aztu.edu.az\/sdg\/aztu-students-with-eco-sensitive-co2tod-project-which-converts-carbon-dioxide-gas-into-dry-ice-awarded-first-place-at-the-international-green-steam-azerbaijan-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"AzTU students with eco-sensitive \u201cCO2toD\u201d project which converts carbon dioxide gas into dry ice, awarded First Place at the International Green STEAM Azerbaijan Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The International Green STEAM Azerbaijan Festival was held with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education and the COP29 Presidency, organized by the \u201cSTEAM Azerbaijan\u201d project.<\/p>\n<p>In the international competition, Aliyoldash Emiraslanli, a student from the SABAH groups of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), and Anabachi Emiraslanova, a student from the Faculty of Engineering at a German university, represented Azerbaijan with their invention, the \u201cCO2toD\u201d device, in the \u201cGreen Initiatives\u201d category. According to the decision of the jury, the project by the AzTU students was awarded first place.<\/p>\n<p>The students were mentored by Professor Mehriban Hasanova, from the Department of Engineering Physics and Electronics at AzTU.<\/p>\n<p>It is noteworthy that over 900 participants, representing 244 teams, took part in the final stage of this year\u2019s festival. Among them, 146 participants represented 15 countries, including the United Kingdom, Turkey, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and the United States. A total of 17 judges from 10 different countries, including Denmark, Slovakia, Canada, and Turkey, participated in the evaluation and content preparation process.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1'
