{"id":6255,"date":"2024-08-30T12:49:23","date_gmt":"2024-08-30T08:49:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aztu.edu.az\/sdg\/?p=6255"},"modified":"2025-01-16T12:08:04","modified_gmt":"2025-01-16T08:08:04","slug":"an-international-competition-was-organized-by-aztu-in-pakistan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aztu.edu.az\/sdg\/an-international-competition-was-organized-by-aztu-in-pakistan\/","title":{"rendered":"An international competition was organized by AzTU in Pakistan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span lang=\"EN\">The final stage of the international competition &#8220;Finding Innovative and Creative Solutions (FICS)&#8221; was held in the city of Islamabad of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, jointly organized by the National Science and Technology University (METU) and the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN\">FICS is the largest startup competition held annually in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan since 2013. Care is taken to ensure that all projects presented in the competition comply with the Sustainable Development Goals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN\">Professor Vilayat Valiyev, rector of AzTU, speaking at the event, spoke about the role of the competition in creating innovative solutions related to global challenges. The rector pointed out that the participation of the teams of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Pakistan universities in the competition is a clear example of the cooperation of the three brotherly countries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN\">It should be noted that the winner of the international competition was the team of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University. The AzTU team won the &#8220;most innovative socially oriented idea&#8221;<\/span><span lang=\"EN\">\u00a0nomination.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-6255
