A delegation headed by Vilayat Valiyev, the Rector of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), visited the Balakan district and met with the local education community. The meeting was attended by school and lyceum directors, heads of educational courses operating in the district, representatives of youth organizations, teachers, and students who had scored high marks in the admission exams.<\/p>\n

Rector Vilayat Valiyev gave an extensive presentation about AzTU, stating that it is the only university in the region preparing specialists in defense industry fields. He highlighted that AzTU’s goal is to become the leading university in the region in engineering sciences and the application of smart technologies. The rector also shared information about AzTU\u2019s international relations, dual degree programs, opportunities for students, and new projects being implemented. He emphasized that strengthening cooperation between the university and the region\u2019s educational institutions would be mutually beneficial.<\/p>\n

Mehpara Murtuzaliyeva, Head of the Education Sector for the Sheki-Zagatala Regional Education Department in Balakan, noted that the meeting was crucial for expanding university-school relations.<\/p>\n

At the end of the meeting, the rector answered questions from the participants.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that the AzTU delegation included Aynura Ismayilova, Director of the Lifelong Learning School, Fuad Dashdamirov, Director of the Institute of Logistics and Transportation, Osman Gunduz, Coordinator of AzTU\u2019s Digital Transformation Advisory Board and Chairman of the University\u2019s Public Council, and Sevinj Isgandarova, Head of the Public Relations Department.<\/p>\n
