Students are sent to internship institutions close to their places of residence in the capital and regions, and foreign students are provided with the opportunity to do internships in their own countries.<\/p>\n<p>In the spring semester of the 2023-2024 academic year, 1,542 students of the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) studying in the 4th academic year of the bachelor&#8217;s degree participated in internships of 6, 21 and 30 credits, depending on their specialty. 1,179 undergraduates studying in the 2nd academic year of the master&#8217;s degree participated in scientific research and scientific-pedagogical internships of 8 credits each.<\/p>\n<p>AzTU cooperates with numerous enterprises, government agencies, and foreign companies regarding the internships of students. Thus, during the last academic year, 42 permanent and 522 temporary cooperation enterprises were included in the database. More than 600 contracts were signed with these enterprises.
