It was organized by the Times Higher Education (THE) agency. The congress brought together over 3000 global leaders and innovators from more than 100 countries to discuss \u201cSustainable Development\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>During the congress 10 leading local universities were represented at the Azerbaijan Pavilion with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education and the organization of the State Agency for Science and Higher Education.<\/p>\n<p>Azerbaijan Technical University (Aztu) participated successfully in the event. Subhan Namazov, Vice Rector for Science and Innovation and Bakhtiyar Badalov, the Head of the Research and Development Department represented the university. Aztu staff held meetings with the representatives from different public and private institutions, including the heads of higher education institutions during the four-day Global Sustainable Development Congress.<\/p>\n<p>The rankings (QS and THE) and the details of collaboration in the field of scientific research were focused on the discussions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1'
