Three teams of students from Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) won the competition \u201cTUSA\u015e Lift Up 2024 Industry-Oriented Graduation Project \u2013 Graduate Projects\u201d announced by the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) within the framework of the 2024-2025 academic year.<\/p>\n
The teams of \u201cKarabaghX\u201d, \u201cAeroTech AzTU\u201d and \u201cVATAN\u201d are working on diploma projects on the topics of \u201cGreen mechanical processing and durability of cutting tools\u201d, \u201cOptimization of aerodynamic shape using reinforcement learning\u201d and \u201cReduction of residual stresses in mechanical processing parts depending on the rolling direction of the material and optimization of the NC program\u201d. They are led by Professor Nizami Yusubov, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology, Professor Yadigar Imamverdiyev, Head of the Department of Cybersecurity and Associate Professor Sarvan Aziz, Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology.<\/p>\n
The industrial consultants of the projects implemented with the support of TUSA\u015e are G\u00f6rkem \u00c7oban, Sadik Yetkin and Alper Yesilyurt.<\/p>\n
In the teams, AzTU is represented by 10 students in total, including one foreign student<\/p>\n
The leader of the \u201cQarabagX\u201d team is Tamerlan Ahmadov, a 4th year student of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics, specializing in mechanical engineering, and the team members are Sevil Agayarzade and Ibrahim Novruzov.<\/p>\n
The leader of the \u201cAeroTech AzTU\u201d team is Javid Asadov, a 4th year student of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Telecommunications, specializing in information security, and the team members are Amin Mammadli and Eyyub Hajiyev.<\/p>\n
The leader of the \u201cVATAN\u201d team is Seyyid Hasan Majidli, a 4th year student of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics, specializing in mechanical engineering, and the team members are Shamil Askerov, Ahmet Kirbali and Murad Shafiyev.<\/p>\n
The budget of each project is 30,000 Turkish liras.<\/p>\n
It should be noted that teams consisting of AzTU students have been participating in this competition since the 2023\/2024 academic year. AzTU’s cooperation with TUSA\u015e has been established since 2022.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
