The final stage of the \u201cPA\u015eA Bank Cup VII\u201d<\/strong> programming competition was held, organized by Pa\u015fa Bank and supported by Azerbaijan Technical University\u2019s (AzTU) Institute of Information Technologies and Methodological Support in Education. The competition aims to support the development of the information technology (IT) sector in the country, reveal the potential of young learners and professional IT specialists, and improve their skills.<\/p>\n

Since 2019, the competition has included participants from various age groups, including school students, university students, and professional programmers, testing their programming and algorithmic knowledge.<\/p>\n

The competition consists of three stages. The first two stages (Stage I: data structures, search and sorting algorithms; Stage II: dynamic programming, graph theory) were held online.<\/p>\n

Sixty participants who showed strong results in these stages qualified for the final round. In the final, held at AzTU, participants were tasked with writing and testing solutions to six algorithmic problems within 4 hours on the \u201cHackerRank\u201d platform. Winners were determined in three categories: student, university student, and professional.<\/p>\n

The top three winners in each category received valuable prizes from PA\u015eA Bank (1st place: MacBook Pro M3, 2nd place: iPad Pro 11 M4, 3rd place: Apple Watch).<\/p>\n

AzTU\u2019s Institute of Information Technologies and Methodological Support in Education staff member, K\u0259nan \u018fsg\u0259rli, was awarded 2nd place in the professional category.<\/p>\n
