Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), together with Turkey-Azerbaijan University and Pakistan\u2019s National University of Science and Technology (NUST), jointly organized an international event at AzTU titled \u201cStrategic Talks on Innovation & Commercialization for Knowledge Sharing\u201d (STICKS International 2025)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The main goals of the event were to develop university-industry collaboration, commercialize scientific research, support startups, and strengthen international partnerships.<\/p>\n

At the opening ceremony, AzTU Rector Vilay\u0259t V\u0259liyev and NUST\u2019s Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation, and Commercialization Rizvan Riaz addressed the participants, highlighting the significance and objectives of the event.<\/p>\n

The forum featured two main panel discussions.<\/p>\n

The first panel was dedicated to \u201cCross-Border University-Industry Collaboration \u2013 Perspectives from Pakistan, Turkey, and Azerbaijan.\u201d<\/strong> This panel focused on collaboration opportunities between universities and industry representatives, organizing joint research projects, and developing innovation ecosystems.<\/p>\n

The second panel was held on \u201cTransforming Research into Global Impact \u2013 Cross-Border Commercialization Strategies.\u201d<\/strong> Participants discussed the commercialization potential of scientific results, technology transfer, investment environments, and regional cooperation opportunities.<\/p>\n

The \u201cSTICKS International 2025\u201d event was highly appreciated by participants, who expressed confidence that it would create new opportunities for broader scientific cooperation in the future.<\/p>\n

At the end, AzTU Rector Vilay\u0259t V\u0259liyev, TAU Vice-Rector Mehmet \u015eim\u015fir, and NUST Vice-Rector Rizvan Riaz symbolically pressed the \u201cstart\u201d button together. On the screen, the announcement of the \u201cPakistan \u2013 Azerbaijan \u2013 Turkey Innovation Corridor\u201d<\/strong> initiative was displayed.<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that the event is held annually in Pakistan; this year, for the first time, it took place outside Pakistan \u2014 in Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n
