{"id":8410,"date":"2025-09-18T11:52:08","date_gmt":"2025-09-18T07:52:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aztu.edu.az\/sdg\/?p=8410"},"modified":"2025-09-26T11:55:49","modified_gmt":"2025-09-26T07:55:49","slug":"aztu-staff-and-students-participate-in-bootcamp-in-shamakhi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aztu.edu.az\/sdg\/aztu-staff-and-students-participate-in-bootcamp-in-shamakhi\/","title":{"rendered":"AzTU Staff and Students Participate in \u201cBootcamp\u201d in Shamakhi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The next <strong>\u201cBootcamp\u201d dedicated to the project \u201cApplication of Artificial Intelligence in Precision Agriculture\u201d<\/strong> was held in Shamakhi, jointly organized by the <strong>Agrarian Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture<\/strong> and the <strong>Shamakhi District Executive Authority<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Bootcamp, organized within the framework of the <strong>Wine and Grape Festival<\/strong>, was attended by representatives of the <strong>Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU)<\/strong>: <strong>Ali Mustafasoylu<\/strong>, student of the Faculty of Special Equipment and Technology; <strong>Selcan Karimli<\/strong>, student of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Telecommunications; and <strong>Omar Alasgarov<\/strong>, trainer-constructor at the Research and Design Laboratory of the <em>\u201cSmartTech\u201d Innovation Center<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The main goal of the Bootcamp was to promote the use of <strong>digital technologies in agriculture<\/strong>, enable young people to transform their theoretical knowledge into practical skills, and support the development of the <strong>startup ecosystem<\/strong> in the agrarian sector.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the program, specialists from agribusiness companies as well as experts from more than <strong>10 acceleration and incubation centers<\/strong> delivered presentations. They shared insights on improving the participants\u2019 projects, possibilities for industrial application, commercialization, and market entry.<\/p>\n<p>Participants presented a variety of <strong>innovative ideas and models<\/strong>, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a unified platform for marketing biotechnologically produced plants,<\/li>\n<li>automated irrigation systems and sensor technologies,<\/li>\n<li>smart software for agricultural management,<\/li>\n<li>eco-friendly fertilizer production through filtering fish waste from reservoirs and aquariums,<\/li>\n<li>a local GPS tracking system for livestock based on the Concox Qbit-4G module,<\/li>\n<li>environmentally friendly production of propanediol molecules via biological fermentation,<\/li>\n<li>and an application for early detection of plant diseases using photo analysis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To further enrich participants\u2019 knowledge and experience in the agricultural sector, an <strong>infotour<\/strong> was organized to local enterprises in Shamakhi. Students and staff visited the facilities of <strong>\u201cAz-Granata\u201d LLC<\/strong>, the <strong>Institute of Viticulture and Winemaking Research Farm<\/strong>, and <strong>\u201cShirvan Wines\u201d LLC<\/strong>, gaining first-hand exposure to real production processes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-8405\"
