The delegation also included Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation Subhan Namazov and Head of the Research and Development Department Bakhtiyar Badalov.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the visit, Rector Valiyev highlighted AzTU\u2019s successful cooperation with German universities and shared insights on the university\u2019s strategic priorities. A meeting with Professor Thomas Gries, Director of the Institute of Textile Technologies (ITA) at RWTH Aachen, focused on expanding collaboration under the initiative of \u201cSynergia Academy.\u201d Discussions covered joint scientific research and education projects, the launch of the German Research Internship Program, the establishment of a Robotics and Mechatronics Laboratory, and the development of an industry-oriented mini-MBA program. Both parties also considered joint certification programs, collaborative research projects and conferences, and preparing a memorandum of understanding to promote mutual support in international rankings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As part of the visit, the delegation explored ITA\u2019s multidisciplinary research laboratories built on strong university-industry collaboration.
