AzTU Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation, Subhan Namazov, and Director of the Research and Development Department, Bakhtiyar Badalov, conducted an official visit to Lahore, Pakistan, engaging with the University of Lahore, the University of Engineering and Technology, the University of Management and Technology, and the University of Central Punjab.<\/p>\n

The visit provided an opportunity for in-depth discussions on potential avenues and strategic directions for collaboration with Pakistan\u2019s leading universities, which are recognized among the top institutions globally. In a meeting with Professor Shahid Munir, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Engineering and Technology, one of Pakistan\u2019s largest engineering universities, and his delegation, it was highlighted that collaboration with AzTU is highly valuable and that the university is keen to expand joint initiatives through a Memorandum of Understanding. Similarly, discussions with Professor Muhammad Ashraf, Rector of the University of Lahore, highlighted the readiness of both institutions to collaborate in research, joint projects, and the co-publication of scientific articles<\/p>\n

At the University of Management and Technology, Vice-Rector Subhan Namazov and Vice-Rector Asghar Zaidi expressed their mutual interest in engaging AzTU students in scholarship programs, organizing joint scientific conferences indexed in international databases, facilitating reciprocal researcher exchanges, and providing mutual support in international university rankings.<\/p>\n

During the visit to the University of Central Punjab, the delegation met with Vice-Rector Hammed Naved and other representatives. The potential for collaboration in the field of engineering was highly appreciated, and the university expressed its readiness to cooperate across all areas.<\/p>\n

Throughout the visit, the delegation familiarized with the universities\u2019 material, technical, and laboratory resources and discussed opportunities for mutual collaboration. Following these discussions, it was agreed to formalize the partnerships through the signing of Memoranda of Understanding, establishing broad-based cooperation across multiple academic and research areas.<\/p>\n
