The sixth meeting of the <\/span>Azerbaijan National Food Technology Platform<\/b> was held at <\/span>Hacettepe University<\/b>, T\u00fcrkiye. The event was organized at the initiative of the <\/span>Turkish-Azerbaijani University (TAU)<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The meeting brought together representatives of higher education institutions in Azerbaijan where food engineering programs are offered. <\/span>Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU)<\/b> was represented by Professor <\/span>Isa Khalilov<\/b>, Head of the Department of Machine Design, Mechatronics and Industrial Technologies, and Senior Lecturer <\/span>Bahruz Jabrailov<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the beginning of the meeting, Professor <\/span>Halil Vural<\/b>, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Hacettepe University, provided the delegation with detailed information on the work carried out at the faculty. This was followed by a comprehensive presentation by Professor <\/span>Ali Topcu<\/b>, Head of the Food Engineering Program at Hacettepe University, on the structure of laboratories, operational principles, and research areas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Professor <\/span>Vural Gokmen<\/b> of Hacettepe University and Professor <\/span>Umran Uyqun<\/b>, Head of the Food Engineering Program at TAU, also delivered presentations on laboratory infrastructure, ongoing projects, achieved results, opportunities for applying research outcomes, and prospects for integration with industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

The meeting further included discussions on the current state of food engineering education, mutual exchange of experience, and future cooperation opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Within the framework of the visit, the delegation also toured the laboratories of Hacettepe University, receiving detailed information on available equipment, scientific research activities, and opportunities for industry integration.<\/span><\/p>\n
