An event was held to mark the conclusion of a professional development training program implemented at \u201cBakuBus\u201d LLC, aimed at promoting the sustainable development of urban transport and enhancing traffic safety.<\/span><\/p>\n

The project aimed to improve service quality in urban public transport, increase traffic safety, and develop professional workforce capacity in the field.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event was attended by Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) Rector Vilayet Valiyev, Chairman of the Board of \u201cBakuBus\u201d LLC Hikmat Garibov, staff of AzTU\u2019s Institute of Logistics and Transportation \u2013 including training instructors \u2013 as well as participants of the training program.<\/span><\/p>\n

Welcoming the participants, Hikmat Garibov, Chairman of the Board of \u201cBakuBus\u201d LLC, highly appreciated the collaboration with AzTU. He noted that following the initial official meetings with \u201cBakuBus\u201d LLC, a detailed analysis of the company\u2019s workforce needs was conducted by AzTU\u2019s Institute of Logistics and Transportation. The assessment revealed the need to enhance employees\u2019 academic-theoretical knowledge, familiarity with industry terminology, and understanding of the regulatory and legal framework.<\/span><\/p>\n

AzTU Rector Vilayet Valiyev stated that the training program was implemented within the framework of strategic cooperation established between AzTU and \u201cBakuBus\u201d LLC to support the sustainable development of urban transport, strengthen workforce capacity, and enhance professional knowledge in the field. The Rector also emphasized the importance of expanding such training programs in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

Director of AzTU\u2019s Institute of Logistics and Transportation, Fuad Dashdemirov, provided detailed information about the implementation of the training program. He noted that the sessions were conducted by the Institute\u2019s professional academic staff and combined theoretical knowledge with practical approaches. The program covered key concepts in traffic safety, relevant legal and regulatory documents, the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Road Traffic, analysis of road traffic incidents, and theoretical and practical knowledge regarding vehicle safety requirements.<\/span><\/p>\n

Associate Professor Qasim Manafov of AzTU\u2019s Department of Transport Engineering and Management Technologies provided detailed information about the students\u2019 performance and achievements during the training program.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the speeches, the collaboration model between AzTU and \u201cBakuBus\u201d was recognized as an effective example of knowledge and experience exchange between higher education institutions and the industry sector, demonstrating tangible results from university\u2013industry cooperation, with plans for continuation in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the event, certificates were awarded to participants who successfully completed the training program.<\/span><\/p>\n
