Within the framework of the <\/span>\u201cYear of Constitution and Sovereignty,\u201d<\/b> the <\/span>III International Conference<\/b> titled <\/span>\u201cSustainable Development Strategy: Global Trends, National Experience and New Goals\u201d<\/b> has started its work in Mingachevir. The event is jointly organized by <\/span>Mingachevir State University (MDU), Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), Gazi University (Turkey),<\/b> and <\/span>HBN Group<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The main objective of the conference is to present the results of scientific research conducted in relevant areas, taking into account the realities of the post-victory stage following the historic success achieved through the determination of <\/span>Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev,<\/b> and the courage of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.<\/span><\/p>\n

The conference provides a platform for scientific discussion on topics outlined in <\/span>\u201cAzerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for Socio-Economic Development\u201d<\/b> approved by the Presidential Decree of February 2, 2021, as well as the <\/span>UN\u2019s \u201cOur World Transformation: Agenda for Sustainable Development by 2030.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

At the beginning of the event, participants visited the monument of <\/span>national leader Heydar Aliyev<\/b>. Subsequently, they attended an exhibition in the MDU foyer showcasing <\/span>startup projects developed by students<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The opening ceremony began with a <\/span>moment of silence in memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan<\/b>, followed by the <\/span>National Anthem of Azerbaijan<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ilham Ismayilov, Head of the Mingachevir City Executive Authority<\/b>, welcomed the guests and wished success to the conference.<\/span><\/p>\n

MDU Rector Anar Eminov<\/b> stated that over <\/span>600 abstracts and articles<\/b> were submitted by scholars and researchers from <\/span>19 countries and 24 Azerbaijani higher education and research centers<\/b>. He emphasized that Mingachevir State University, as the main host of the conference, places special importance on discussing <\/span>new knowledge and innovative approaches<\/b> in response to global challenges. He added that the concept of <\/span>\u201cSustainable Development\u201d<\/b> has become a key direction in defining both national development strategies and the future goals of higher education.<\/span><\/p>\n

AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev<\/b> highlighted that the conference serves as an important platform for discussing <\/span>global trends in science, technology, and innovation<\/b>. He noted that changes related to <\/span>artificial intelligence, green energy, cybersecurity, digitalization, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution<\/b> affect all sectors of society. He emphasized the importance of expanding <\/span>inter-university collaboration<\/b> to ensure that Azerbaijani universities adapt to these transformations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following the opening speeches, the conference proceeded according to the program with <\/span>protocol addresses<\/b>. The three-day event continues with <\/span>sectional sessions<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>closing ceremony<\/b> is scheduled to be held at AzTU on <\/span>December 8<\/b>, where the outcomes of the conference and prospects for future collaboration will be highlighted, and a <\/span>final resolution<\/b> will be adopted.<\/span><\/p>\n
