The Republic Committee of the Trade Union of Science and Education Workers, a member organization of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, presented the \u201cTrade Union Scholarship\u201d to seven students of the Azerbaijan Technical University<\/p>\n

The event began with the playing of the State Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, followed by a one-minute silence in honor of the memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who gave their lives for the country.<\/p>\n

AH\u0130K Deputy Chairman Musa Mirzayev stated that the youth policy established by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev provides young people with opportunities to develop in the spirit of national and moral values, receive quality education, and become active members of society.<\/p>\n

It was noted that under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, consistent and targeted measures are being implemented to realize the potential of young people, train them as highly qualified specialists, and increase their role in socio-political life. The contributions of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva to the development of the younger generation, as well as the projects implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in education, culture, sports, and other fields, were also emphasized.<\/p>\n

The speech highlighted the systematic activities carried out by AH\u0130K to strengthen youth social protection, safeguard labor rights, and develop their potential. It was noted that the \u201cTrade Union Scholarship\u201d program, intended for students with high academic performance who are active in the student trade union movement, is one of the successful initiatives in this direction. The program fosters a healthy competitive environment among students and encourages them to achieve higher results.<\/p>\n

During the event, Deputy Minister of Science and Education Kenan Karimzade spoke about the ongoing reforms in the education sector, noting that the modern education system serves the development of students\u2019 knowledge, skills, and creative abilities. He emphasized that the \u201cTrade Union Scholarship\u201d program plays an important role in motivating students.<\/p>\n

Finally, based on the results of the summer examination session of the 2024\u20132025 academic year, seven AzTU students with high academic achievements and active participation in the student trade union movement were awarded the \u201cTrade Union Scholarship.\u201d<\/p>\n
