The <\/span>\u201cZAFER\u201d team<\/b> of <\/span>Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU)<\/b>, led by <\/span>Associate Professor Sarvan Aziz<\/b> of the Department of <\/span>Manufacturing Technology<\/b> and PhD in <\/span>National Security and Military Sciences<\/b>, won the <\/span>\u201cTUSAS Lift Up 2025 Industry-Oriented Graduation Project \u2013 Graduate Projects\u201d<\/b> competition organized by <\/span>Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAS)<\/b> for the <\/span>2025-2026 academic year<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The team, consisting of <\/span>five AzTU students<\/b>, will carry out a project titled <\/span>\u201cOptimization of the Meshing Parameters of Bevel Gears\u201d<\/b>. The project will be implemented with support from TUSAS, with <\/span>Bahadir Kartal<\/b> serving as the industrial advisor.<\/span><\/p>\n

The team captain is <\/span>Rufat Dadashzadeh<\/b>, a fourth-year student in the <\/span>Device Engineering program<\/b> at the Faculty of <\/span>Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgy<\/b>, and the team members are <\/span>Aysel Muradova, Nasib Abdullayev, Fatime Mahmudova, and Nermin Karimli<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is noteworthy that <\/span>AzTU student teams have been participating in this competition since the 2023\/2024 academic year<\/b>, and the university\u2019s <\/span>collaboration with TUSAS began in 2022<\/b>. The <\/span>TUSAS Lift Up Industry-Oriented Graduation Project \u2013 Graduate Projects<\/b> competition allows undergraduate engineering students at AzTU to participate in team-based projects.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>coordination of the project<\/b> is managed by <\/span>AzTU\u2019s Lifelong Learning School<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n
