{"id":9979,"date":"2026-04-02T23:33:34","date_gmt":"2026-04-02T19:33:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aztu.edu.az\/sdg\/?p=9979"},"modified":"2026-04-12T23:37:48","modified_gmt":"2026-04-12T19:37:48","slug":"azerbaijan-technical-universitys-engineering-programs-have-successfully-passed-international-accreditation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aztu.edu.az\/sdg\/azerbaijan-technical-universitys-engineering-programs-have-successfully-passed-international-accreditation\/","title":{"rendered":"Azerbaijan Technical University\u2019s engineering programs have successfully passed international accreditation."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A number of engineering programs taught at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) have been successfully accredited by the prestigious <\/span><b>AQAS (Agency for Quality Assurance through Accreditation of Study Programs)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Standing Commission.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The accreditation was carried out for a cluster of five study programs:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Bachelor\u2019s)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Electrical Engineering (Master\u2019s)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Process Automation Engineering (Bachelor\u2019s)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Process Automation Engineering (Master\u2019s)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Energy Engineering (Master\u2019s)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As part of the accreditation process, an on-site evaluation was conducted at AzTU by AQAS experts from October 27 to 31, 2025. During the site visit, the curriculum content, teaching quality, infrastructure, and management mechanisms of the five-program cluster were comprehensively assessed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Based on the evaluation results, the programs were recognized as meeting international standards and were accredited until March 31, 2032.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This achievement confirms that the quality of engineering education at AzTU is internationally recognized and highlights the university\u2019s strong educational and research capacity. The accreditation is also significant for students in terms of obtaining internationally recognized degrees and improving their competitiveness in the labor market.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AzTU will continue its efforts to enhance the quality of its educational programs and expand international cooperation in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img
