A meeting was held at the Azerbaijan Metrology Institute (AzMI), which operates under the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control, with Associate Professor Gültekin Coşkun, the head of the National Ground Safety Institute (UZGE) operating in the technopark of Sivas Cumhuriyet University in Türkiye. The meeting was attended by the Rector of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), Vilayat Valiyev, the Vice-Rector of the Türkiye-Azerbaijan University (TAU), Mehmet Şimşir, as well as representatives of the Azerbaijan Institute of Standardization (AZSTAND). During the meeting, information was provided about AzMI’s areas of activity, service sectors, measurement and calibration capabilities, existing calibration and verification laboratories, as well as newly established reference laboratories. A cooperation memorandum has been signed between AzTU, TAU, and UZGE
A cooperation memorandum has been signed between Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), Türkiye-Azerbaijan University (TAU), and Türkiye’s National Ground Safety Institute (UZGE). Within the framework of this collaboration, joint activities are planned in the fields of scientific research, technology transfer, metrology, standardization, and the establishment of testing laboratories. According to the memorandum, the institutions will cooperate in implementing joint scientific projects, publishing articles in international scientific journals, and applying innovative solutions in industry. Additionally, UZGE specialists will conduct training sessions for AzTU and TAU students, providing opportunities for practical experience in laboratories. To support startup development and strengthen the innovation ecosystem, the institutions will also collaborate through Technology Transfer Offices.
