The former President of Latvia visited AzTU
Former President of Latvia Andris Berzins, who is visiting our country to participate in the 12th Global Baku Forum on the theme “Rethinking the World Order: Turning Challenges into Opportunities” held under the patronage of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, was a guest of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU).The guest met with AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev and university representatives.Rector Vilayat Valiyev provided information about the work done and projects implemented at AzTU.He stated that AzTU is interested in expanding cooperation with Latvian universities.Former President of Latvia Andris Berzins, in turn, noted that he would support the development of cooperation between leading technical universities in Latvia and AzTU.As part of the meeting, the guest watched a video presentation reflecting the activities of AzTU.

An awareness event was held jointly by the Electronic Security Service and Azerbaijan Technical University An awareness event was organized jointly by the Electronic Security Service (ESS) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). The event, attended by a total of 200 people, featured presentations by ESS staff on the topics of “Cybersecurity in the Online Environment” and “Fundamentals of Cybersecurity.” The purpose of the event was to raise awareness among youth in higher education institutions about information security and cybersecurity, as well as the use of social networks.
