Today, Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) held a Knowledge Day event.
The celebration began in the university foyer with a floral tribute at the bust of national leader Heydar Aliyev. The memory of those who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty was honored with a one-minute silence, followed by the performance of the National Anthem. Rector Vilayət Vəliyev congratulated the newly admitted students and wished them success in their educational journey and future endeavors. He announced that this year, 1,887 students were admitted at the bachelor’s level and 1,604 at the master’s level. The Rector also shared information about AzTU’s learning environment, student support, social opportunities, and career prospects. A recognition ceremony was held for 16 students who scored above 600 points in the entrance exams.
