A meeting was held at the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) with newly admitted international students for the 2025/2026 academic year. The purpose of the event was to familiarize international students with the university’s academic environment, social and cultural life, rules, and procedures, as well as to support their smooth integration into the educational process. The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for International Relations Dr. Fariz Mammadov, Head of the Communications Department Mr. Safa Baghirov, and Head of the International Student Admission Sector Ms. Sevinc Absalamli, who all delivered speeches. A meeting was held with the first-year students of the Faculty of Information Technology and Telecommunications at the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). The Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Telecommunications, Dr. Leyla Mammadova, provided information about the faculty’s activities, academic programs and specializations, skill development opportunities, and career prospects — including collaborations with IT Academies and Code Academy. She also spoke about upcoming hackathons, startup competitions, projects, and exchange programs.
