AzTU Library and Information Center Achieves Another International Success
The Library and Information Center (LIC) of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), led by Director Khayala Hajiyeva and staff member Mahsati Aliyeva, has successfully completed the Azerbaijani translation of the online terminology dictionary in the field of Digital Repositories, following a joint collaboration proposal from COAR (Controlled Open Access Repositories). COAR is an international association representing over 130 members and partners, including libraries, universities, and research institutions worldwide. The organization works to enhance the potential of open access, develop legal frameworks, harmonize best practices, and act as a global voice for repository networks. One of its key initiatives is the translation of digital repositories into various world languages, supporting trends in science and education as well as promoting open science and open access.
