A delegation led by Professor Ahmed Şengönül, Rector of Turkey’s Sivas Cumhuriyet University, visited Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). The guests met with AzTU’s Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Nurəli Yusifbəyli, and other university representatives. Mehmet Şimşir, Vice-Rector of the Turkey-Azerbaijan University (TAU), also participated in the meeting.
Vice-Rector Nurəli Yusifbəyli welcomed the guests and expressed pleasure in hosting them at AzTU. He provided detailed information about the university’s scientific and research activities, ongoing joint degree programs and projects, and innovations AzTU has brought to the education sector in Azerbaijan. Representatives of Sivas Cumhuriyet University also gave a presentation on their university’s key activities.
During the meeting, discussions were held on establishing cooperation between AzTU and Sivas Cumhuriyet University. Proposals included the creation of joint research centers beneficial for both universities, cooperation at undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels, preparation of joint research projects, faculty and student exchange programs, and the organization of joint events initiated by the universities.
