AzTU Staff Participated in the “II Turkic World International Engineering Summit” in Kazakhstan

From May 13 to 16, in the city of Turkistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan Technical University’s (AzTU) Trade Union Committee Chair Elvin Bəkhtiyarlı, Professor Mehman Həsənov (Head of the Department of Radio Engineering and Telecommunications), Professor Yadigar İmamverdiyev (Head of the Department of Cybersecurity), and Associate Professor Atif Namazov (Head of the Department of Engineering Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence) participated in the “II Turkic World International Engineering Summit.” The event was organized by the “Turk Engineers Association” and held at the invitation of the Azerbaijan Education Workers’ Free Trade Union Republican Committee. AzTU staff delivered extensive presentations on various relevant topics.

The summit featured discussions on various branches of engineering, current challenges, future tasks, the Turkic World Engineering Union, and prospects ahead.

Additionally, Elvin Bəkhtiyarlı spoke about the role of public organizations and trade unions in engineering and shared information about the activities carried out by the Azerbaijan Education Workers’ Free Trade Union Republican Committee and AzTU’s Trade Union Committee.

The four-day summit involved discussions on multiple engineering fields. At the end of the event, it was decided that the “III Turkic World International Engineering Summit” would be held in Azerbaijan in 2026.
