Artificial intelligence has wide applications in many areas, including the economy, culture and art, as well as politics. Today’s conference titled “Artificial Intelligence in the Contemporary Art Space: Problems and Perspectives,” organized by the University of Culture and Arts, is also related to artificial intelligence.
This was stated by the Rector of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), Professor Vilayət Vəliyev, in an interview with journalists.
The Rector said: “Today, we see more applications of artificial intelligence in culture and art. The essence of artificial intelligence in this regard is that it is an applied field. As the rector of a technical university, I can say that we have a very strong platform related to artificial intelligence.
For example, one of its directions is the application of artificial intelligence technologies. Another area where AI is applied is the defense industry. Azerbaijan has very serious applications of artificial intelligence in the defense sector.
One of the major application areas of artificial intelligence is also the energy sector. Additionally, AI is used in electronics and telecommunications.
The main point is that although artificial intelligence cannot replace humans, it eases their work, and as humans continuously learn, significant results are achieved.”
