AKM mentor Sənan Novruzlu provided detailed information about the current cyber threats worldwide and in Azerbaijan, their damages, the theft of data of national importance, and cyber-attacks on private sector data. He stated that the purpose of AKM’s trainings is to develop the highest level of knowledge and skills among cybersecurity personnel in the country.
AKM mentor Səxavət Abdıyev gave detailed information about AKM to AzTU students. He mentioned that a total of 360 people are planned to be trained during the first 6 waves of AKM, with 240 graduates from the first 4 waves, and the 5th wave trainings nearing completion. All graduates represent the center in both government institutions and the private sector. The center’s representative encouraged AzTU students to be active and join the 6th wave of training. Registration will close on May 7.
During the info session, AKM mentor Osman Əliyev emphasized that the training programs carried out by the Center are based on the training program of Israel’s Technion Institute of Technology, and each training period aims to prepare 60 specialists. The center’s staff noted that the foreign trainer team assesses the English proficiency, IT knowledge, psychological state, and interview skills of applicants. Those who successfully pass all stages undergo 6-month trainings in the “Blue team” (defense) and “Red team” (attack) directions. Those who successfully complete the training receive an official certificate from the Technion Institute.
