As part of Germany’s “German Academic Exchange Service” (DAAD) exchange program, Pascal Heyman, founder of the company “Berlin Speaking” and lecturer at the University of Potsdam, visited Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). During his visit, Pascal Heyman conducted a training session titled “Pitch Training,” dedicated to the development of young teachers’ startup projects and the enhancement of their presentation skills.
The training, organized by AzTU’s “SmartTech” Innovators Center, aimed to help participants present their innovative ideas, prepare effective pitches for products and projects, and increase their knowledge of Germany’s startup ecosystem.
Held in an interactive format, the training enabled participants to improve both theoretical and practical skills, including public speaking, presentation, body language, and storytelling. During the sessions, students and teachers presented their startup ideas and received individual feedback and mentorship support.
At the end of the training, participants delivered “pitch” presentations of their project ideas and received personalized feedback and recommendations from the expert.
