The Faculty of Special Equipment and Technologies of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) has been awarded the ISO 21001:2018 – Educational Organizations Management System international certificate, which confirms compliance with international standards for management in educational institutions.
The certification was carried out by the international certification company STAREGISTER International Inc. The certificate was presented to AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev by Shamo Muradov, the official representative of STAREGISTER International Inc. in Azerbaijan and Director of the INCERT certification company.
Rector Vilayat Valiyev emphasized the special importance of the ISO 21001:2018 standard in establishing systematic management in educational institutions, strengthening a learner-centered approach, and ensuring sustainable quality assurance. He noted that the Faculty of Special Equipment and Technologies provides training in fields of strategic importance for the country, and that this certification is an indicator of the faculty’s institutional development being recognized at the international level.
It should be noted that within the framework of the certification process, the faculty’s educational and management processes, curricula and syllabi, student satisfaction, and continuous improvement procedures were comprehensively audited in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 21001:2018 standard and received a positive evaluation.
