AzTU Staff Visit Turkish Aerospace Industries and Universities in Ankara
A delegation from Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), including Professor Nizami Yusubov, Head of the Department of Manufacturing Technology; Advisor Professor Nariman Rasulov; Associate Professor Sarvan Aziz, PhD in National Security and Military Sciences; Senior Lecturer Ramil Dadashov; and Farid Huseynli, Advisor to the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, visited Ankara, Türkiye, within the framework of an academic exchange program.
During the visit, the AzTU delegation held a number of official meetings with Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), Middle East Technical University (METU), and Gazi University.
The purpose of the visit was to further expand existing relations with these educational and research institutions, strengthen scientific cooperation, facilitate mutual exchange of experience, and discuss collaboration opportunities in research and development fields, with the aim of advancing cooperation to a new level.
Meetings held within the framework of the visit focused on the development of scientific cooperation between AzTU and Gazi University, METU, and Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) through joint research projects and academic exchange programs. Discussions covered the implementation of joint projects, collaboration in priority research areas, and the systematic exchange of academic and industrial experience.
Within academic exchange programs, the introduction of short-term scientific visits for faculty members and researchers, joint supervision (co-supervision) mechanisms for master’s and doctoral students, and the structured implementation of mutual experience-sharing practices were recommended.
As a result of the visit, agreements were reached between AzTU and Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), Gazi University, and METU to expand scientific cooperation and promote institutional integration in the field of higher education.
