A student excursion to the Yusif Mammadaliyev Memorial Museum of the Institute of Petrochemical Processes was organized by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgy of the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), together with the Student Youth Organization (TGT), as part of the events dedicated to the 120th anniversary of academician Yusif Mammadaliyev.
During the excursion, students visited the museum’s two main exhibition rooms. They received detailed information about academician Yusif Mammadaliyev’s life and scientific activity, the fundamental scientific school he established in petrochemistry, his achievements, personal archive materials, photographs, working tools, and other valuable exhibits. The students were thoroughly informed about his significant role in the development of Azerbaijani science, his contributions to global chemistry, and the ongoing relevance of his ideas in modern chemical processes.
As the visit continued, students watched a documentary film dedicated to Mammadaliyev’s scientific legacy. They also became acquainted with the rare archival documents displayed in the museum.
