An awareness event was organized at Azerbaijan Technical University by the Communications Department as part of the “Children’s Rights Month” initiative.
Mehti Namazov, a staff member of the Communications Department, noted that AzTU always pays special attention to organizing events covering social issues. He emphasized that the healthy development of children, their access to education, and growing up in an environment free from violence are crucial factors for every member of society.
Lawyer and mediator Mehri Rzayeva spoke about the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding children’s rights and highlighted the importance of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
The session concluded with a Q&A segment, where participants’ questions were answered.
