A meeting was held at the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) with newly admitted international students for the 2025/2026 academic year. The purpose of the event was to familiarize international students with the university’s academic environment, social and cultural life, rules, and procedures, as well as to support their smooth integration into the educational process.
The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for International Relations Dr. Fariz Mammadov, Head of the Communications Department Mr. Safa Baghirov, and Head of the International Student Admission Sector Ms. Sevinc Absalamli, who all delivered speeches.
In his remarks, Vice-Rector Dr. Fariz Mammadov spoke about the expansion of the university’s international relations, the growing interest of students from various countries in AzTU, and the positive contribution this makes to the institution’s reputation. He emphasized the importance of ensuring that every international student studying at AzTU is actively involved in the university’s academic, research, and social activities.
Head of the Communications Department Mr. Safa Baghirov discussed the opportunities created for students to participate in an active social life on campus. He provided information about the various student clubs and community projects operating at AzTU, noting that joining these clubs significantly contributes to students’ social adaptation and personal development.
Head of the International Student Admission Sector Ms. Sevinc Absalamli gave detailed information about the admission and academic process, documentation, class organization, accommodation, and daily regulations. She also informed students about the support mechanisms available to them in case they face any difficulties during their studies.
During the meeting, students shared their thoughts, asked questions about their education and living conditions, and expressed their impressions. Their suggestions were carefully noted for further consideration.
