An informative session was organized by the Student Scientific Society (SSS) of the Faculty of Energy at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU).
The Chair of the Faculty SSS, lecturer of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Shamkhal Aliyev, provided detailed information about the structure of the SSS, membership rules, its mission and vision. He also highlighted the main objectives of the Faculty SSS, noting that its key areas of activity include systematically engaging students in scientific research, supporting startup and innovation-oriented projects, and building a strong student scientific ecosystem within the faculty.
During the event, six student teams from the Faculty of Energy presented their startup projects. In their presentations, students proposed engineering solutions that can be applied to solving real-world problems.
At the conclusion of the event, the Dean of the Faculty of Energy, Professor Huseyngulu Guliyev, delivered a speech emphasizing the important role of the SSS in faculty life. He stated that such information sessions and startup presentations significantly contribute to the development of students’ research, innovation, and teamwork skills, and that these initiatives will continue to receive consistent support from the faculty leadership.
