A digital student card is available for AzTU students
From the new academic year, AzTU students will present their student tickets in digital form via the “mygov” platform. The use of digital student cards is being launched under the joint initiative of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Development, the Ministry of Science and Education, and the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). Thus, AzTU students will submit their student card information in digital form through the “mygov” application. From the next academic year, the use of a digital student card is intended for many occasions, such as entering the university and taking exams at the university. The professor of AzTU participated in the mobility program in Germany
Fariz Amirov, a professor at the Department of Special Technologies and Equipment of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), participated in a mobility program under the Erasmus+ exchange scheme to conduct scientific research at Brandenburg University of Technology in Germany. During his stay in Germany, he carried out scientific research at the relevant research laboratories of the corresponding departments at Brandenburg University of Technology. Additionally, he held discussions with the university’s staff regarding the potential implementation of future joint scientific research projects.
AzTU is represented at the exhibition of higher education institutions
Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) is participating in the university fair organized by the State Examination Center. The aim of the fair is to familiarize applicants with the opportunities available at higher education institutions before making their specialty choice and to support them in determining their field of study. Visitors to the fair have the opportunity to interact directly with AzTU representatives, ask questions, and get answers regarding specialties, academic programs, infrastructure, tuition fees, scholarships, and other related matters. Within the framework of the fair, AzTU will present a more detailed overview for applicants at designated halls and times. It should be noted that around 40 public and private higher education institutions operating in the country, as well as various organizations, have set up booths at the fair. The fair will continue until August 2, 2024.
Cooperation between AzTU and IDDA is expanding
The Rector of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), Vilayat Valiyev, met with Shahmar Hajiyeva, Director of the Information Security Department of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA), and other staff members of the agency. AzTU professor spoke at an international scientific conference in Russia
Professor Huseyngulu Guliyev, Dean of the Faculty of Energy and Automation at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), participated in the international scientific conference on “Methodological Issues of Reliability of Large Energy Systems” held in Arkhangelsk, Russia. Professor Guliyev presented two scientific reports: “Determining the Optimal Size of Hybrid AC-DC Distributed Generation Systems with Renewable Sources for Autonomous Power Supply of Remote Areas” and “Selection of Controlled Shunt Reactors for 330 kV Voltage Electric Networks and Study of Their Operating Regimes.” The first report by AzTU’s professor focused on the theoretical and methodological aspects of applying hybrid systems based on green energy technologies for ensuring reliable power supply to remote areas. His second presentation discussed the optimal placement of controlled shunt reactors to increase the reliability of energy systems and the study of their operating regimes. Caglar Ceylan, a research engineer at the Center of Excellence in Metal Forming at Atılım University in Turkey, visited Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) under the Erasmus+ exchange program. Lala Garayeva, a student at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), participated in an internship and research program at the University of Agricultural and Environmental Pedagogy (HUAP) in Austria. She organized a seminar on “Green Pedagogy,” sharing her experiences from Austria with AzTU staff regarding its application and principles in the teaching process. AzTU delegation visited Gabala State Vocational Education Center
A delegation led by Vilayat Valiyev, Rector of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), visited the Gabala State Vocational Education Center.
