AzTU held event dedicated to memory of martyr student Elshad Aliyev
Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) held a memorial event dedicated to the 50th anniversary of martyred student Elshad Aliyev. The event was attended by Elshad Aliyev’s family members, classmates, families of the martyrs, war veterans, deputies of the Milli Majlis, representatives of the Nizami District Executive Power, AzTU faculty and students. First, the memory of the heroes who gave their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan was commemorated with a minute of silence, then the National Anthem was played. AzTU hosts event “Return to Khojaly”
Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) hosted an event called “Return to Khojaly” on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the Khojaly genocide, organized by the Student Youth Organization (SYO) and the Student Trade Union Committee (STUC). The event participants first observed a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the Khojaly genocide, as well as the sons of the Motherland who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan. Three teams from AzTU won the “TUSAŞ Lift Up 2024 Industry-Oriented Graduation Project – Graduate Projects” competition
Three teams consisting of students from Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) have won the “TUSAŞ Lift Up 2024 Industry-Oriented Graduation Project – Graduate Projects” competition announced by the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) for the 2024-2025 academic year. The teams “KarabağX,” “AeroTech AzTU,” and “VATAN” worked on diploma projects titled “Sustainability of green mechanical processing and cutting tools,” “Optimization of aerodynamic shape using reinforcement learning,” and “Reduction of residual stresses depending on the rolling direction of material in mechanical processing parts and optimization of NC programs,” respectively. These projects are supervised by Professor Nizami Yusubov, Head of the Department of Manufacturing Technology; Professor Yadigar İmamverdiyev, Head of the Department of Cybersecurity; and Associate Professor Sarvan Aziz from the Department of Manufacturing Technology. The projects are supported by industrial consultants Görkem Çoban, Sadik Yetkin, and Alper Yeşilyurt from TUSAŞ. 3 teams of AzTU win competition “TUSAŞ Lift Up 2024 Industry-Oriented Graduation Project – Graduate Projects”
Three teams of students from Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) won the competition “TUSAŞ Lift Up 2024 Industry-Oriented Graduation Project – Graduate Projects” announced by the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) within the framework of the 2024-2025 academic year. The teams of “KarabaghX”, “AeroTech AzTU” and “VATAN” are working on diploma projects on the topics of “Green mechanical processing and durability of cutting tools”, “Optimization of aerodynamic shape using reinforcement learning” and “Reduction of residual stresses in mechanical processing parts depending on the rolling direction of the material and optimization of the NC program”. General Manager of GOSB Technopark Held Seminar at AzTU
Murat Çemberci, General Manager of Gebze Organized Industrial Zone (GOSB) Technopark, held a seminar on “Entrepreneurship Ecosystem and Technoparks” at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev, Turkey-Azerbaijan University (TAU) Vice-Rector Mehmet Şimşir, MUSIAD Azerbaijan Board Chairman Rashad Jabirli and other persons participated in the seminar. AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev first addressed the participants and spoke about the importance of the seminar. AzTU held event dedicated to International Mother Language Day
An event dedicated to International Mother Language Day was held at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) jointly organized by the Department of Humanities and the Student Trade Union Committee (STUC). Delivering an introductory speech at the event, AzTU Vice-Rector Rashad Aliyev evaluated this meeting, which included the issues of promoting and encouraging the ideas of Azerbaijaniness, as a very important and commendable event. A representative of the Clarivate company conducted a training session for staff at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU).
Meinhard Kettler, a representative of Clarivate, led the online training organized by AzTU’s Research and Development Department. The main purpose of the training was to provide information on how to use the features offered by the PQDT Global and Web of Science platforms more effectively, as well as to promote open access. During the session, topics such as free access to PQDT Global and Web of Science, electronic theses and dissertations, and using ProQuest’s free ETD Dashboard tool for data access, along with institutional repository systems for universities, were discussed.
