A meeting was held at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) with representatives of the Turkish company “Argemsan”, which is engaged in the production of laboratory equipment. Opportunities for technical cooperation between the parties, the provision of laboratories in various specialties, as well as the implementation of joint projects was discussed in the meeting. In the end, the parties agreed to continue working meetings to determine future directions of cooperation.

An event dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the Çanakkale Victory was held at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU).The event, organized by AzTU’s Turkish students, was attended by the university’s faculty and students.Habib Mirzayev, head of the Department of Humanities, and Afag Zeynalova and Arzu Khalilzadeh, associate professors of the department, spoke about the historical significance of the Battle of Çanakkale and the national spirit created by this victory.Poems on the theme of heroism were recited at the event, and musical numbers reflecting the spirit of patriotism were presented.

Firstly, stands of faculties and student organizations were displayed on the occasion of the Novruz holiday. Expressing his congratulations on the occasion of Novruz, AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev spoke about the history of this beloved national holiday and its symbol of national unity and solidarity. He emphasized that organizing such national holidays and celebrations also instills in the younger generation a commitment to national traditions. The rector also spoke about the successes of AzTU in recent years and the projects implemented at the university to train modern engineering personnel. The former President of Latvia visited AzTU
Former President of Latvia Andris Berzins, who is visiting our country to participate in the 12th Global Baku Forum on the theme “Rethinking the World Order: Turning Challenges into Opportunities” held under the patronage of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, was a guest of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU).The guest met with AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev and university representatives.Rector Vilayat Valiyev provided information about the work done and projects implemented at AzTU.He stated that AzTU is interested in expanding cooperation with Latvian universities.Former President of Latvia Andris Berzins, in turn, noted that he would support the development of cooperation between leading technical universities in Latvia and AzTU.As part of the meeting, the guest watched a video presentation reflecting the activities of AzTU.

Meeting with graduate students who completed research internships at AzTU
An online scientific seminar was held with graduate students involved in scientific research practice at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering operating under the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). The seminar, led by Nuran Abdullayev, Director of the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, Research Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences, held extensive discussions on current scientific topics with graduate students studying in the specializations “Service of Biomedical and Radioelectronic Devices” and “Medical and Technical Diagnostic Methods and Devices”.Discussions were organized around the current research work of the graduate students, their dissertation topics, and the methods they apply, and future directions of activity were determined.The meeting was attended by the institute’s senior research workerr Javid Abbasli and the experimental supervisors, PhDs in engineering Gunay Khasmammadova, Khanim Samadova, and Aybeniz Abdullayeva, who shared their suggestions and recommendations regarding the scientific results presented by the graduate students.

The performances dedicated to the 152nd anniversary of the National Theatre were staged based on the works of playwright Mirza Fatali Akhundov’s “Monsieur Jordan and Dervish Mastali Shah” and Afaq Bashirqizi’s “Kindergarten Teacher.” It should be noted that the performances were the result of three months of rehearsals by students from AzTU and the UNEC Creativity Center. Among the audience were honored artists Rafael Isgandarov, Joshgun Rahimov, and Elkhan Yunis. At the end of the performances, the honored artists congratulated the students and wished them success.
