AzTU Staff Visit Kazakhstan

Associate Professor Habib Mirzayev, Head of the Department of Humanities at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), and Professor Ayyub Karimov visited the K.I. Satbayev Kazakh National Research Technical University in Kazakhstan within the framework of an academic exchange program.

As part of the visit, productive meetings were held with Professor Kuldeev Erjan Itemenovich, Vice-Rector for Science and Corporate Development; Professor Bakytzhan Amralinova, Director of the Institute of Project Management; Janar Orazbekova Jumadilova, Director of the Department of Support for Scientific Projects and Doctoral Education; and Associate Professor Almas Uderbayev, Head of the Department of Kazakh and Russian Languages.

During the meetings, extensive discussions were held on the development of scientific cooperation, implementation of joint projects, and collaboration opportunities in priority research areas.

Habib Mirzayev delivered a presentation on AzTU at the Department of Kazakh and Russian Languages of the K.I. Satbayev University and conducted a scientific seminar for the department’s academic staff.

AzTU representatives also participated in the annual report meeting of the Rector of the K.I. Satbayev Kazakh National Research Technical University, Meyram Mukhametrakhimovich Begentayev, dedicated to the results of 2025.

Within the framework of the visit, the AzTU delegation visited the Linguistics Institute named after Akhmet Baitursynuly of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, as well as the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science, and Religious Studies.

At a business meeting held at the Center for World and Kazakh Philosophy of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science, and Religious Studies, directions for advancing research on Turkic philosophy were discussed.

During the visit, the AzTU delegation was presented with various scientific publications on Kazakh linguistics, as well as academic works reflecting contemporary research by the Institute in the fields of Kazakh and world philosophical thought.
