Representatives of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) paid a visit to Tashkent State Transport University in Uzbekistan. The delegation included Fuad Dashdemirov, Director of the Institute of Logistics and Transport; Nijat Zohrabov, Head of the Department of Transport Equipment and Control Technologies; Ramin Aslanov, Associate Professor of the same department; senior researchers of the Institute of Logistics and Transport, Ulvi Javadli and Royal Allahverdiyev; Elmeddin Salayev, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Transport Logistics and Traffic Safety; and Farhad Talishinski, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Digital Economy and Financial Technologies.
The purpose of the visit was to expand joint scientific activities in line with the memorandum signed between the universities and to exchange successful practices achieved in the field of education.
Within the framework of the visit, the directions of future scientific research were defined, and a workshop dedicated to the activities and implemented projects of the Institute of Logistics and Transport was held. After presentations by Fuad Dashdemirov, Ramin Aslanov, and Ulvi Javadli on completed and planned work, extensive discussions took place.
Fuad Dashdemirov, Ulvi Javadli, and Nijat Zohrabov also participated in a dissertation defense at Tashkent State Technical University.
At the initiative of Fuad Dashdemirov, a scientific seminar was organized at the meeting of the Department of Vehicle Engineering of Tashkent State Transport University, dedicated to the discussion of the dissertation research of Elmeddin Salayev, a doctoral student and senior lecturer of AzTU’s Department of Transport Logistics and Traffic Safety. During the seminar, which was marked by lively discussions, the author responded to questions from experts.
Professor Akmal Anvarovich Mukhitdinov of the Department of Vehicle Engineering at Tashkent State Transport University noted the comprehensive scope of the issues addressed in the dissertation and recommended that the work be submitted for defense.
During the visit, the delegation toured the specialized laboratories and workshops of Tashkent State Transport University.
As part of the visit, Fuad Dashdemirov delivered master classes to students of the Faculty of Automotive Transport Engineering at Tashkent State Transport University on the topics “Risk and Crisis Management for Transport Systems” and “Simulation of Transport Processes.” The sessions concluded with discussions based on students’ questions.
