In December 2025, at the 5th International Physics Olympiad held in Turkmenistan, students of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) achieved outstanding results. AzTU student Aylin Guliyeva was awarded first place, while Ceylin Topchu received a Special Award in the competition.
It should be noted that the preparation of students for international competitions in the field of physics is carried out by Professor Matanat Mehrabova, Head of the Department of Engineering Physics and Electronics at AzTU, together with Vali Huseynov, Corresponding Member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).
