AzTU Representatives Held a Meeting at the Baku State Vocational Education Center for Industry and Innovation
Representatives of the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) met with students and graduates pursuing Higher Technical Vocational (HTV) education at the Baku State Vocational Education Center for Industry and Innovation. The purpose of the meeting was to support young people graduating with an associate (sub-bachelor) degree in choosing the right specialty and making successful steps in their future educational journey. AzTU Employee Awarded 2nd Place at “PAŞA Bank Cup VII” Programming Competition
The final stage of the “PAŞA Bank Cup VII” programming competition was held, organized by Paşa Bank and supported by Azerbaijan Technical University’s (AzTU) Institute of Information Technologies and Methodological Support in Education. The competition aims to support the development of the information technology (IT) sector in the country, reveal the potential of young learners and professional IT specialists, and improve their skills. Since 2019, the competition has included participants from various age groups, including school students, university students, and professional programmers, testing their programming and algorithmic knowledge. The competition consists of three stages. The first two stages (Stage I: data structures, search and sorting algorithms; Stage II: dynamic programming, graph theory) were held online. Sixty participants who showed strong results in these stages qualified for the final round. AzTU Hosted the International Startup Competition “Finding Innovative & Creative Solutions” for the Second Time
The preliminary stage of the international startup competition titled “Finding Innovative & Creative Solutions”, which supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), was held at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). The competition was jointly organized by AzTU and Pakistan’s National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST). Its goal is to engage university faculty and students in contributing innovative ideas to solve global challenges. This year, 60 teams from 21 universities in Azerbaijan and 2 teams from 1 university in Kazakhstan participated. AzTU students presented 9 startup projects in this competition. The official opening began with the national anthems of Azerbaijan and Pakistan. “Digital Medicine 4.0: Challenges, Opportunities, and Prospects” Republican Scientific-Practical Conference Held
The Ministry of Science and Education’s Information Technology Institute, together with the Ministry of Health, the Health Committee of the National Assembly, the National Oncology Center, Azerbaijan Medical University, the Information Technology Institute, Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), and the Biophysics Institute, organized the 2nd Republican Scientific-Practical Conference titled “Digital Medicine 4.0: Challenges, Opportunities, and Prospects.” The event gathered leaders from relevant government bodies, higher education institutions, the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), scientists and experts from research institutes under the Ministry of Science and Education, and media representatives. A Delegation Led by AzTU Rector Visited Leading Universities in Malaysia
A delegation led by Professor Vilayət Vəliyev, Rector of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), made an official visit to Malaysia. Professor Vahid Garousi from Queen’s University Belfast, United Kingdom, and a member of the World Azerbaijanis Scientists Association (DAAB), will serve as a visiting professor at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). Important Document Signed on Workforce Training for Azerbaijan’s Defense Industry

Representatives of Turkey’s Sivas Cumhuriyet University Visited AzTU
A delegation led by Professor Ahmed Şengönül, Rector of Turkey’s Sivas Cumhuriyet University, visited Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). Ecological Thinking Begins at School – Another Group of Students Joined the Green Mission at AzTU
A new wave of support for the initiative on recycling plastic waste and producing filament for 3D printers, carried out by the MGP Group under the Lifelong Learning School of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), came from 8th-grade students of Səttar Bəhlulzadə Foreign Language Gymnasium. During their visit, the students brought the collected plastic bottles to AzTU and handed them over to the MGP Workshop. The students were accompanied by their class teacher Ləman Babayeva and biology and STEAM teacher Ofeliya Həzərxanova. During the meeting, the students observed firsthand the process of sorting plastic waste, recycling, and converting it into filament for 3D printers. MGP engineers provided detailed information about the modern technologies, software, and production stages used in this field and answered many questions from the students. The students were also introduced to drone (UAV) technologies and shown engineering projects in this area, including aerodynamic design principles and control systems.…
