The closing ceremony of the III International Conference on “Sustainable Development Strategy: Global Trends, National Experience and New Goals”, jointly organized by Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), Mingachevir State University (MDU), Gazi University (Turkey), and HBN Group, was held at AzTU.
During the ceremony, AzTU Rector Vilayat Valiyev praised the organization of international conferences in regional locations as a commendable initiative. He thanked the MDU leadership for the high-quality organization of the event and emphasized that, as a result of this conference, universities should expand multidisciplinary connections and prioritize the development of international partnerships.
Tariyel Dovletov, Executive Director of HBN Group, discussed the preparation process and outcomes of the conference, affirming that the group will continue participating in similar university-led events in the future.
Professor Shahriyar Mukhtarov from Vistula University (Poland) and Korea University (South Korea) expressed confidence that the conference contributes to sustainable development, noting that the discussions and presentations collectively aim to strengthen the research potential of universities.
MDU Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, Natavan Namazova, highlighted the main calls from the conference, stating that key challenges identified during the three-day event included:
- strengthening regional and international collaboration,
- enhancing university-research center-government partnerships,
- promoting university-industry cooperation, and
- further advancing the use of artificial intelligence.
Following the speeches, the conference concluded successfully, summarizing the outcomes and outlining directions for future collaboration.
