An event dedicated to Youth Day was held at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). The event was organized by the AzTU Trade Union Committee and the Student Trade Union Committee. Speaking at the event, Vice-Rector Rashad Aliyev congratulated the university’s young staff members and students on the occasion of Youth Day and highlighted their significant role in the development of various sectors of the country. He noted that equipping young people with knowledge and skills that meet the challenges of the modern era is one of the priority directions of the state and higher education institutions. Rashad Aliyev also spoke about the opportunities created at AzTU to support the comprehensive development of young people.
Within the framework of the event, a group of staff members and students were awarded certificates of appreciation and gifts for their achievements in education, science, social activities, and active participation in university life.
At the end of the event, the Chairperson of the AzTU Trade Union Committee, Lala Piriyeva, congratulated the young people and spoke about the measures implemented to improve their social welfare and protect their rights. She emphasized the importance of continuously supporting the initiative and active participation of young people and wished them success in their future activities.
