The Institute of Energy and Sustainable Development of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) held a meeting with Germany’s “EPC Engineering & Technologies” company to discuss collaboration opportunities in filament technology. During the meeting, both parties engaged in extensive discussions on innovation, production capabilities, and potential partnership directions.
Technological presentations and information exchange were also discussed. Representatives of “EPC” provided detailed information about “spinning” technology.
Subsequently, research and educational opportunities regarding the next steps of the collaboration were discussed. The application of “wet-spinning” at the laboratory level was highlighted as offering broad learning and research opportunities for students and researchers. The discussion also covered the development and small-scale production of various types of filaments such as “PAN,” “Lyocell,” and “Carbacell.”
