Meeting Held with First-Year Students of the Faculty of Transport and Logistics

A meeting was held with first-year students of the Faculty of Transportation and Logistics at Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU).

The Dean of the Faculty of Transportation and Logistics, Allahverdi Sharifov, congratulated the students on their admission to AzTU and wished them success in their studies. The dean also provided first-year students with information about the university, the faculty’s history, and its educational programs.

Following this, Razim Bayramov, Head of the Department of Transport Logistics and Traffic Safety, and Heybatulla Ahmadov, Consulting Professor of the Department of Transport Technology and Management, shared detailed information on the main priorities of their departments in staff training, the importance of university-industry collaboration, and contemporary labor market demands in the field of transportation and logistics.

Graduates of AzTU, now holding high positions in various public and private institutions, also spoke at the meeting. It was highlighted that graduates of the Faculty of Transportation and Logistics are in high demand in both local and international organizations. Mastery of their specialization, strong practical skills in the industry, proficiency in multiple foreign languages and computer literacy, along with self-presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, provide AzTU graduates with extensive career opportunities.

Sahib Asgarov, a representative of AzTU’s Technology Transfer Center, delivered a presentation highlighting the opportunities the center provides for students.

The faculty’s vice-deans, Ghazanfar Akhundov and Mahir Mustafayev, informed students about the teaching process and essential aspects of communication within the faculty.

On behalf of the students, Rashvin Shirelizade, a fourth-year student, spoke about the value the faculty has contributed to his academic and personal development.
