The director of “Baykar Technological Azerbaijan” company, Hüseyin Topuz, visited Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). The guest met with AzTU Rector Vilayət Vəliyev and university representatives. The director of the “Bilim Bakı” Center, Ahmet Köse, also participated in the meeting.
Rector Vilayət Vəliyev welcomed the guests and spoke about the projects carried out at the university and the work done to develop modern engineering education. He emphasized that the cooperation established with “Baykar Technological Azerbaijan” is an important step for the development of university-industry collaboration.
The director of “Baykar Technological Azerbaijan,” Hüseyin Topuz, expressed his gratitude for the hospitality and stated that his organization is interested in cooperation with universities and is pleased to participate in joint projects with AzTU.
Subsequently, a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the fields of science, education, and technology was signed between AzTU and “Baykar Technological Azerbaijan.”
The document envisions organizing research projects, internship programs for students, joint teaching and training activities, the organization of conferences and seminars, as well as further expansion of academic cooperation between the parties.
In accordance with the directions outlined in the memorandum, joint courses and programs meeting international standards will be developed, joint scientific events organized, and training opportunities created for the university’s students and young faculty members.
