Representatives of the Faculty of Special Equipment and Technology of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), together with fourth-year students, visited the “Alov” plant operating under the authority of the Iqlim Scientific-Industrial Enterprise LLC.
Prior to the meeting, students were provided with detailed information about the plant’s main areas of activity, existing production capacities, and technological processes applied in the defense industry.
During the meeting with the Director of the “Alov” plant, Kenan Mammadli emphasized the importance of the existing cooperation between AzTU and the enterprise, highlighting that the continuation of these ties is significant for both industry and higher education.
Dean of the Faculty of Special Equipment and Technology, Yadullah Babayev, expressed gratitude to the plant’s management and staff for the warm reception and favorable conditions provided. He noted that within the framework of university–industry cooperation, the expansion of students’ industrial internships and practical training is planned in the future. The Dean also particularly emphasized that such collaborations play an important role in training competitive and highly qualified professionals for the country’s defense industry.
At the end of the meeting, a plaque of appreciation was presented to the Director of the “Alov” plant on behalf of the university leadership in recognition of the productive cooperation with the faculty.
