Professor Ikramjan Rahmonov, Head of the Department of Electrical Supply at Tashkent State Technical University; Professor Sherkhan Latibov, Head of the Department of Electrical Networks, Power Plants, and Electric Power Systems at the same university; and Professor Kamal Reymov, Head of the Department of Electric Power Engineering at Karakalpak State University, visited Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) as part of an exchange program.
During the visit, a meeting was held between the Uzbek representatives and Professor Nureli Yusifbeyli, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at AzTU, and Professor Huseyngulu Guliyev, Dean of the Faculty of Power Engineering. The meeting focused on exchanging experiences in academic and research activities, conducting joint research, training specialists, and identifying priority areas for future cooperation in developing educational programs.
The guest professors delivered a lecture to students of the Faculty of Power Engineering on the topic “Perspectives on the Development of Electric Power Engineering.”
