The Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Education Workers of Azerbaijan (ATIAHIRC), a member organization of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan (AHIK), has awarded named scholarships to 100 students for their active participation in education and the student trade union movement.
Among the recipients are 7 students from Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU):
- Vusal Bayramov – 4th year, Faculty of Information Technologies and Telecommunications, Group 641a2
- Fidan Humbatzade – 4th year, Faculty of Economics and Management, Group 951a1
- Arif Aliyev – 4th year, Faculty of Metallurgy and Chemical Technology, Group 411a1
- Fatima Badalzade – 3rd year, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics, Group 502a
- Aqil Bakhshiyev – 4th year, SABAH Groups Faculty, Group 681s1
- Orkhan Hasanov – 4th year, Faculty of Transport and Logistics, Group 161a1
- Ibrahim Ahedov – 3rd year, Faculty of Special Equipment and Technology, Group 742a
It should be noted that ATIAHIRC’s “Named Scholarship” project has been implemented since 1995 and aims to support the academic development of students who maintain excellent or good academic performance and actively engage in the student trade union movement.
